Nick Statman is a UK-based property investor and landlord with over 20 years of experience in residential real estate. He owns and actively manages a sizeable multi million pound property portfolio, generating long-term rental income through efficient, compliant, and hands-on property management.

Nick is also recognised as an early pioneer in the “quick house sale” and “below market value” (BMV) space, having personally transacted on thousands of deals involving motivated sellers, off-market properties, and complex situations. He’s widely considered one of the most experienced operators in this sector.

Business & Team

Alongside his own investments, Nick leads a property business specilaising in bespoke sale solutions for clients, supported by a team of around 20 staff. The company is built around a culture of energy, accountability, and delivering results — and it’s continuing to grow year-on-year.

The team is dynamic, ambitious, and highly motivated, operating in a fast-paced environment where sellers and clients expect certainty, clarity, and speed. Nick plays a hands-on role in daily operations, particularly around deal structuring, business strategy, and scaling the company.

Long-Term Landlord Strategy

Nick’s own property portfolio is built for long-term income, not short-term speculation. The properties are well maintained and managed to a high professional standard. He takes pride in offering tenants a consistent standard of housing and in running his portfolio as a serious, well-organised business.

Since entering the property market in 2002, Nick has successfully navigated three major UK crisis — the 2008 global financial crisis, the 2020 COVID-19 recession, and the 2023 cost-of-living-driven downturn. Throughout each period of economic uncertainty, he maintained a disciplined investment strategy, avoided overleveraging, and preserved strong loan-to-value (LTV) ratios across his portfolio.

While many in the industry were forced to scale back or restructure, Nick’s focus on sustainable growth, stable cashflow, and operational control allowed him to weather the storm — emerging from each cycle with his portfolio intact and well-positioned for long-term performance.

Lifestyle & Health

Nick lives a clean, sober lifestyle that supports both physical and mental discipline. His approach to health is structured, consistent, and focused on long-term sustainability. He trains daily — combining resistance training with several weekly runs and regularly plays padel to stay active and competitive. He’s also learning to play golf — though by his own admission, not very well (yet). Nick has completed multiple marathons and continues to make health and routine a core part of how he operates day to day. His approach to health is structured, consistent, and rooted in long-term sustainability.

He is also in deep remission from Crohn’s disease, following years of dedicated health management. His mindset around health reflects the same qualities he brings to business — clear systems, discipline, and focus.

Family & Personal Life

Nick lives with his wife and two sons and is a devoted family man. Outside of property and fitness, his time is focused on home life — and following Leeds United, a lifelong passion. He prefers to stay private, focusing on his family and business. His reputation in the industry has been built over time, through performance and relationships — not promotion.

In Summary

Nick Statman is a highly experienced UK property professional with a strong track record in investment, dealmaking, and landlordship. He leads a growing team, manages a national portfolio, and has completed thousands of successful transactions. His approach is structured, consistent, and focused on creating long-term value — in business and in life.
