Ontario announces $2.5 million investment in wearable contact tracing device

The Ontario government is investing $2.5 million in an Ontario-made wearable contact tracing device that will alert users if they’ve been near someone with COVID-19. The funds will be provided to Facedrive Inc. through the Ontario Together Fund to accelerate the deployment of its wearable contact tracing app, TraceSCAN, according to a Feb. 18 news…
